This elongated oval tin was released in 1954 by Douwe Egberts and was available as a collectible in exchange for loyalty stamps when purchasing Pickwick tea. The box is richly decorated with classic images of sailing ships, fishermen, and waterscapes, evoking a warm and nostalgic atmosphere. The cream-colored lid features an old town with towers, windmills, a drawbridge, and boats on the water – a scene that looks like it stepped out of a traditional Dutch painting.
