This rectangular tin, perfect for storing tea (spoons), features a loose-fitting lid. The gold background, framed by an elegant black stripe decor on the sides, creates a charming canvas. The evolution of the company was entrusted to Douwe Egberts and his wife Ymke Jacobs Visser. Known for processing coffee, tea, and tobacco, Douwe Egberts, under Douwe Egberts' leadership, grew into a leading brand.
Originally started in Joure, Douwe Egberts continued its growth, opening a second location in Utrecht in 1919. Situated on Keulsekade, this location remains the beating heart of Douwe Egberts to this day.
