The Tupperware Shape-O-Toy—known in the Netherlands as the "Hollebol"—is an iconic educational toy passed down through generations. Designed for playful learning, this bright red ball combines shape recognition, motor skill development, and basic counting in one durable, child-friendly design.
The ball features ten cut-out openings in various geometric shapes, each matching a yellow plastic shape. Built-in handles on both sides make it easy for young children to grip, shake, and explore the toy without it rolling away. This makes it suitable for babies from around eight months old.
As children grow, they learn to open the ball using the side handles. Inside, they'll find ten yellow shape pieces, each numbered from 1 to 10. On the reverse of each shape, raised dots match the corresponding number, helping children practice counting as well as shape and number recognition.
The ball can be closed securely with an elastic band and hook, keeping all the pieces safely stored. Made from sturdy, child-safe plastic, the Shape-O-Toy reflects the high-quality, functional design Tupperware is known for.
