🏭 Douwe Egberts & history

Douwe Egberts traces its origins to Joure in the Netherlands, where Egbert Douwes and Akke Thijsses opened a shop in 1753. Historic packaging and advertising from the brand have subsequently been used as inspiration for nostalgic storage and coffee tins.

This example is a later retro edition and should therefore not be confused with an original period tin dating from the era represented by the advertising artwork.
