🃏 About the game

The playing tiles feature the four traditional card suits: clubs, spades, hearts and diamonds. They are placed on corresponding spaces on the game board. It is not only the tile being played that matters: the values of neighbouring tiles also determine the score.

As a result, Cartino combines tactical play and concentration with an element of chance.

🏭 Ravensburger & history

Ravensburger was founded in 1883 by Otto Robert Maier in Ravensburg, Germany. The company developed into an internationally recognised producer of board games, puzzles and educational games.

The original game material credits D.F. Oudolf as the designer. Some later sources have associated this name with renowned game designer Alex Randolph, but this attribution is not conclusively documented.
