The decoration is characteristic with a red background and white dots, complemented by a diagonally checkered white and blue pattern. The colourful letters of Peijnenburg adorn the sides.

Condition:
This 2012 cookie tin, manufactured by Royal Peijnenburg B.V., shows normal signs of use and age-related wear, as expected. Detailed photos are an integral part of the description, providing potential buyers with a clear picture of the product's condition.

Dimensions:
Measuring 8 cm high, 33 cm long, and 9 cm wide, the tin is practical and convenient for storage.

The history of Peijnenburg dates back to 1883, when Cornelis Peijnenburg Sr. began baking rye bread in Geldrop. However, the real breakthrough came in 1923 when his son, Cornelis Peijnenburg Jr., launched the Peijnenburg brand and focused on making gingerbread. This gingerbread, beloved for its quality and unique flavour, quickly became a favourite among consumers.

Throughout the 20th century, Peijnenburg steadily grew, expanding its range with various gingerbread variations to meet changing consumer taste preferences. In 2008, Peijnenburg became part of Lotus Bakeries, enabling further growth and expansion into other European countries.

Today, Peijnenburg remains a trusted and beloved brand, both in the Netherlands and beyond. It is synonymous with quality, tradition, and excellence in the production of gingerbread and other bakery products.

This 2012 cookie tin represents not only a piece of history but also Peijnenburg's ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality products to its customers.
