🏭 Manufacturer & History
Hooimeijer started as a small bakery run by Arie Hooimeijer in Rotterdam-Zuid. A large order of 10,000 biscuits for a grocer marked the beginning of remarkable growth. In 1934, the company moved to Barendrecht, where a modern mechanized biscuit factory was built. Together with his son Joost, Hooimeijer became a nationally recognized brand, thanks in part to clever savings promotions and iconic advertising campaigns.
