🎲 About the game

Word Master Mind is based on the principle of the classic Master Mind game but replaces the familiar colour code with letters and words. The codebreaker attempts to identify a hidden word and receives clues after each guess about the letters used and their positions.

As a result, the game requires not only logical reasoning but also a good sense of language and vocabulary. The concept has some similarities to later word-guessing games such as Lingo, while retaining the characteristic Master Mind principle of systematic deduction and elimination.

🏭 Invicta & history

British company Invicta Plastics became particularly well known for Master Mind, which achieved major international success during the 1970s. Word Master Mind was introduced as a language-based variation on this successful game concept.
