🧱 About the building set

The set contains wooden blocks in a variety of shapes, including cubes, cylinders, arches, triangles and elongated building pieces. Natural wood is combined with red, blue and yellow, while several pieces feature decorative patterns.

The building blocks are neatly stored in two layers, meaning the box contains more pieces than are visible at first glance.

BERBIS building sets are associated with the toy production of E. Reuter in Blumenau, near Olbernhau in Saxony. This area of Germany's Ore Mountains has a long-established tradition of wooden toy making. The company later became part of the state-owned VEB Baukastenfabrik Blumenau.
