The Rolykit consists of multiple interconnected storage compartments. When rolled out, each individual compartment becomes accessible while the contents remain neatly in place.

Its clever construction is especially apparent when the Rolykit is rolled back up: the base of one compartment effectively becomes the lid of the next. This transforms the entire system back into a compact, enclosed storage box.

Ideal for storing craft supplies, tools, sewing accessories and other small items, or simply as a distinctive piece of vintage design.

🏭 Designer & History

Samuel Meijering came up with the idea for the Rolykit after becoming frustrated by the clutter on his worktable. His invention went on to become an international success. Together with a business partner, he founded Golden Inventions, after which the production rights were sold to Van der Molen.

Millions of Rolykits were sold worldwide, making the product a highly recognisable example of inventive Dutch product design from the 1970s.
