Konmar was a Dutch supermarket chain (1968–2008), founded by Henk van der Straaten and Jacques Koster. The name stands for “KonsumentenMarkt.”

Van der Straaten started as a market vendor in The Hague and grew into a successful supermarket entrepreneur. Konmar became known for its innovative retail concepts and distinctive promotional items such as this tin.
