Manufacturer background:
Bolletje B.V. is a Dutch family business with a rich history dating back to 1867. It started with Gerardus Johannes ter Beek, a baker from Almelo, and grew into a national icon under the leadership of his sons, who founded an industrial bakery in 1954. The Bolletje brand became famous through clever advertising, including the legendary slogan “Ik wil Bolletje!” (“I want Bolletje!”) and a collaboration with the ad agency De Zuil. In 2013, the German company Borggreve took over Bolletje. The original building now houses a bakery museum and shop, honoring the heritage of this quintessentially Dutch brand.

Noteworthy features:
This vintage biscuit tin is not only a beautiful decorative item for the kitchen but also a must-have for collectors of Dutch design and nostalgic advertising memorabilia. The unique design by Marten Toonder and the distinctive color combination make this tin a charming eye-catcher. Perfect as a gift or as an atmospheric addition to a retro or vintage interior.
