This sturdy, decorative tin served as the original packaging for Dessert Chocolate produced by the Rotterdam-based chocolatier A. Driessen. It has a hinged lid embossed with the company and product names inside an oval frame. On either side are distinctive anthropomorphic mythical creatures with bird heads, wings, and elegant acanthus leaf motifs, reminiscent of classical griffins. The edge of the lid features a clean, linear decoration, giving the tin a balanced and refined appearance.
